Wonton Soup

Chinese Dumplings, Steamed

Homemade version of Chinese dumplings. Super easy to make. No MSG!

To Freeze: Put in a single layer on waxed paper on a cookie tray. When frozen, store in a bag or container. To use, do not defrost. Heat a pot of water to boiling, and put wontons in frozen. They are done when they float!

There are similar recipes that use packaged Jello custards for the filling. Why not try this very easy 'from scratch' version? Uses very common ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. No fancy cake mixers needed. 10 minutes in the oven to bake the crust, 1 hour to set in the fridge. That's it!

Plum Bread Pudding

I had leftover dry bread and some very ripe plums. I needed to find a way to use them up. I ended up making a bread pudding. I use half sugar/half splenda to bring the calories down.

Hungarian Goulash

It is a very hearty stew, so use a small bowl. I did not make low cal tweaks to this recipe, just portion control. Use leaner meats and drain drippings for lower fat/calories.

I add potatoes into the stew so it is a one pot meal. Skip adding the potatoes and serve over noodles, if you prefer.
