A homemade creamy salad dressing that can be used as a base for green goddess, ranch, blue cheese, thousand island, and more!
Using 2% milk instead of whole milk, and 1 cup of heavy cream reduces the calories by about half, without sacrificing creamy taste.
Based on the English classic steak and ale pie, this is a crust-free version that's just as filling.
Healthy, delicious asian spring rolls. Try different veggies in them. They are fantastic!

Homemade version of Chinese dumplings. Super easy to make. No MSG!
To Freeze: Put in a single layer on waxed paper on a cookie tray. When frozen, store in a bag or container. To use, do not defrost. Heat a pot of water to boiling, and put wontons in frozen. They are done when they float!
One year a friend invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner and served this recipe. It is a really wonderful alternative to plain Thanksgiving cranberries.
Had a few overripe bananas I needed to do something with. Uses minimal butter, splenda and low fat milk to reduce calorie total. Feel free to use regular sugar instead, but your calorie totals will be different.
There are similar recipes that use packaged Jello custards for the filling. Why not try this very easy 'from scratch' version? Uses very common ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. No fancy cake mixers needed. 10 minutes in the oven to bake the crust, 1 hour to set in the fridge. That's it!
I had leftover dry bread and some very ripe plums. I needed to find a way to use them up. I ended up making a bread pudding. I use half sugar/half splenda to bring the calories down.
It is a very hearty stew, so use a small bowl. I did not make low cal tweaks to this recipe, just portion control. Use leaner meats and drain drippings for lower fat/calories.
I add potatoes into the stew so it is a one pot meal. Skip adding the potatoes and serve over noodles, if you prefer.
