This was soooo yummy!! You can lower your fat grams by using turkey pepperoni. I don't care for the taste, so we used traditional pepperoni. I added mushrooms to ours, very good!

well, this was really awesome tasting, however, after loading the nutritional info in, this will be a rare dish served in our household. The recipe specifically tells us to not use low fat/fat free mayo in the recipe. That would help if we could!!

reducing the number of tator tots added and using ground turkey reduces the amount of fat originally found in this tasty all in one casserole!
use ground turkey and corn tortillas, half the cheese and voila, its a much healthier version of the very tasty original found on sparkrecipes!!

Not really sure how to add the oil, but lets say the chicken soaks up 1/2 cup of it , it sure turns out to be pretty fatty. HMMMMM, lets hope it soaks up less, eh???

This is good, but making it the first time, I did not use sugar and my family complained it was too sour. You will have to determine how much you'd like to sweeten the pie mixture!
After the fiasco with another recipe and cheese, I only added cheese on top, not in the middle, and that kept my fat content way down!!
I used to make this all the time for my parents in CA, and back then I was using white flour tortillas, full fat cheese and butter. Even using a light spread and part skim mozzarella, this dish is higher in fat and calories than I planned.
I am sure this is gonna taste great even if you halve the amount of cheese used!! Please try it!!
