Recipes I've Shared:
This is a combination of a couple different treat recipes I have come across. This should take care of a sweet tooth without breaking your intake for the day. You could substitute frozen strawberries for the banana, it would change the counts somewhat.
Tastes like regular honey mustard dressing, but no added sugars. Super fast to make.
This is my husbands favorite go-to breakfast. This is an easy way to enter the whole thing, in a recipe, than to enter each individual food item. This is a super-fast breakfast on the go too.
My favorite go-to breakfast. You could use the comparable measure of boca crumbles instead of the boca patty. I just always happen to have burgers in the house. I always top this with salsa tatemada (roasted salsa) at the end. If you finish with a salsa, add your calories for it as well. This has a lot less calories or fat than using ground beef. I decided to put the recipe in so I don't have to enter every single ingredient everytime I make this. Enjoy!
Our own spin on it.
I borrowed the original recipe from a fellow Spark member, with a couple alterations. Like for instance, substituted pumpkin for the oil.
This came from Linda's low carb recipes. We just left off the bell peppers. Seems to please everyone who loves pizza.
This is our version without the corn tortillas. The carbs are low enough to be doable if you're doing low carb. It comes out a little saucey, but you can serve it on a bed of shredded cabbage and garnish with black olives and salsa. Just make sure you add those in on your food planner. This was made as a big family size dish and could be scaled down.
Found this on a low carb recipe site. There is no sugar added. The pumpkin and cream cheese are on the Atkins list. I'm not sure how low it has to be to qualify for low carb. The calories are low enough. It is superfast, and tastes pretty darn good. I have updated this.
Less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Found this on a low carb recipe site and had to try it.
A Great way to get your veggies. The roasting makes them sweeter. Super fast side dish too!
Got this from a friend who made this one up. It is amazingly good. You won't miss the butter or all the cream. The calories and fat are much lower than traditional alfredo. This would be awesome on chicken with mushrooms or whole wheat pasta. The possibilities are endless.
You can top this with salsa, or a spicy dressing. This is a lunch favorite of mine. You could use some leftover grilled chicken, or a rotisserie.
This is super fast and very tasty. Instead of adding shredded cheese at the end, which is way too high in fat and calories, we top with salsa. It's a flavor explosion.
With a kick and a bite to it! The adobo sauce is what is in chipotle peppers, and has no calories at all. I use this on my southwestern salad. This is my adaptation from a recipe out a book called
Superfast and Delicious-Very Creamy, I made a few adjustments to the original. Much lower in calories than the canned version.
Great on cracker, toast, whatever.
Got the idea on this from Ingrid Hoffman on the Food Network. I left out the oil.
