Growing up I ate rice in just about anything that was soup. Here's my version of black beans with rice. I do a half and half mixture of white and brown rice in the rice cooker before adding it to the soup.
I love biscuits and gravy. It's my favorite, but it always left me with way too many calories and feeling heavy and bloated. This is a recipe to replace that. Inspired by Eggs in Purgatory found in Food Network magazine. This has been adapted to suit my needs.
