I have made this for years using Italian bread crumbs, trying this modification with Paleo origins.
I was supposed to use sour cream instead of cream cheese. They were moister with the SC, but still good with CC.
I use this in my lunch with 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt mixed in.
We make this in week sized batches. Breakfast every work day is easy.
Looking for a way to use celery, sour cream, and chicken and came up with this combination of several recipes. If I remember correctly these are the steps I used to make the dish. It was very good.
Mixture of what was in my cupboard that turned out kinda tasty. May turn out soupish depending on how much juice is in your tomatoes. Serve it as a soup or use a slotted spoon to dish out.
Green tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and onion. Like fried vegetables, but baked. Great with steak.
