Kitchen Aid Pizza Dough (Beer Based)

I have to say I LOVE my Kitchen Aid stand mixer! It has so many uses other then making cakes. One of my favorite things to use it for is kneading bread. It is almost just as easy as a bread machine but doesn’t take up the extra counter or cabinet space.

Using beer in place of water has a very subtle flavor, but doesn't taste like beer. The added sugar and yeast from it makes this dough pretty no fail.

You a can use water instead of beer and it will take off about 8 calories per slice. You can also use regular sugar in place of honey, but you will may need to add 1-2 teaspoons of extra water as the honey helps keep in moist.

NOTE: You can also add herbs & garlic to your dough for added flavor, this is really a base recipe with endless possibilities.

Creamy Homemade Mac & Cheese with Bacon

Simple to make with whole foods. A nice creamy mac & cheese sauce with bacon, because bacon makes everything better.

Instant Pot Apple Cranberry Steel Cut Oats

Quick, easy & tasty breakfast perfect for making in an Instant Pot or similar electric pressure cooker.

I do NOT recommend making oats in stove top cookers. Electric pressure cookers have safety shut off in case the valve gets plugged. Only make up to 2 cups of dry oats at once in a 6+ quart model and NEVER use the quick release.

Instant Pot version takes approximately 45 minutes or less to make total including prep.

I have included stove top directions at the end, it takes about 30 minutes of work except it has to sit for 6-8 hours over night.

Sugar Free Lemon Chicken Sauce

This sauce is super easy to make & is great poured over grilled, pan fried, baked or breaded chicken! I guess it's similar to the restaurant sauce from what I have been told (though I have never had it) Best served with cubed chicken & put over rice. May work nicely with pork or seafood as well!
