This large cake-like breakfast cookie is lower in fat and sugar than most and contains such ingredients as oatmeal, whole wheat flour, Kashi GoLean cereal and dried cherries. It is also high in fiber.
Uses half the butter of the usual recipe. Use lowfat yogurt or light sour cream to reduce calories. Cream of celery soup replaces cream of chicken to make it vegetarian. Light cheese can also be used to reduce calories. Although this makes 16 servings, those are large - recommend smaller servings for special occasions.
