I love casseroles because you can make them ahead of time and then just throw them in the oven when you are ready. This one is pretty simple, has lots of tasty cheese, and uses summer veggies. A winner.
From May 2006 Parents Magazine - sweet, southwest flavor - my kids love this (and they aren't fans of fish).
My mother-in-law used to make this as 'comfort food' for my husband when he was growing up. I'm mostly entering this just to see the calorie (and sodium!!!) content, not to recommend anyone else make it. At least try to find low-sodium soup...this is what I had on hand.
From Good Housekeeping Magazine. They say 6 servings is 465 calories, this is why I also enter my own data based on my food - I got over 500 so I made it down to 8 servings which is a more reasonable 405 calories.
Got this recipe for hot chicken chili from my husband's grandmother.
This is a recipe for Tuna Noodle Casserole that I got off of SparkPeople but the low calories made me suspicious. So I entered it again myself to calculate and found it was inaccurate.
This is so tasty and has lots of veggies in it. Get over 50% of your Vitamin A and C requirements here!
