Occasional grits are yummy but need spicing up. This recipe is caloric but give a decent protein and carbo punch.

This is the Express Chili parlor, Cincinnati, recipe as published in the Cincinnati Enquirer. As stated in other recipes, Cincinnati Chili's spices vary from recipe to recipe. The chili is generally served over spaghetti, and topped with your choice of cheddar cheese, chopped onions, and kidney beans. I tend to thrown the kidney beans into the finished product. Also, I like to add some chopped sweet green bell pepper to the recipe while it is cooking.

This recipe came from my daughter who lives in the capitol of Mac N Cheese. It was modified to be slightly less gluten and fat.
