This tastes strikingly similar to a popular creamy dressing that graces most fridge door shelves. I also tend to add a pinch of dill and my kids and hubby say they could practically drink this stuff. If it makes them eat more salads and veggies, I'm happy about it. Plus...it's cruelty free. Just make sure you stick with moderation on this recipe.
How can just the simplest of ingredients taste so good? It smells amazing on the grill too. It even has the neighbors leaning out the door and commenting!
This salsa is another staple in my house. We can tear through bags of tortilla chips when I make this salsa. If you can manage to not eat it all in one setting, please note that it gets hotter as it sits. You can adjust the ingredients to suite your palette but just remember that what you eat eminates through your pores! I always smell like spicy garlic after eating this delicious salsa!
I enjoy balsamic vinegar in dishes because it adds a nice depth to the dish. Please do not substitute it with any other vinegar sitting in your pantry. Do yourself a favor a get the good stuff. This dish is worth it.
My 12 year old loves making this recipe. I recommend using vegan friendly options when available and adjust the bouillon granules to your liking, or better yet, use vegetable stock that you've made!
These are so delicious you should make a double batch so you can freeze some for later or share with friends. I normally substitute the sugar with splenda for less calories.
