These granola bars go together so quickly and are a fabulous and healthy breakfast food. I like them best when warmed in the microwave for 15 seconds.
A few important tips that I have picked up from making these several times:
1. Be precise in the measurements of the peanut butter and honey; too much or too little of the wet ingredients will cause them to not bind correctly.
2. While the recipe calls for the bars to be pressed into a pan lined with wax paper, do not use this for storage; they will dry out. Store in a tupperware container or ziplock bag to make sure they don't get dry.
3. A rubber spatula is your best friend in this recipe.
