This is a fabulously quick start to many of my mornings. Just add some juice or a fruit & you've got a healthy & delicious breakfast.
This is a great recipie for those of us who use Canned Goods. And for those looking for an easy to make meal.
This salad is a summer favorite of mine. My mom used to make this all the time for desert.
Quick note: instead of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, I used 4.5tsp of Pumpkin pie spice.
Also, instead of cocoa I used Nesquick powdered chocolate.
Slow Cookers are a wonderful tool for those of us who don't seem to have time.
This recipe is quick, and cost effective. Just put it on to cook in the morning and go about your day, and when dinner time hits, you'll have a hot, tastey and filling meal all ready without too much effort.
Also, serve with a quick veggie side and milk and you've got a complete meal.

For the freeze-dried fruit, I use Gerber's Mini Fruits blend of banana and strawberry - find it in the baby food isle.
Also, I know a lot of people don't really like the bran cereal (it does look like sticks) but, in this it really tastes great!
