Faux Waldorf Salad

I wanted something colorful and healthy for my guest, so I threw a few things together and it turned out pretty good

Healthy Apple, Raisin, Oatmeal Cookies

Because my BF is pre-diabetic, I experiment with recipes to make them healthier and eliminate as much sugar as possible. We both love oatmeal cookies, so I adapted this recipe from the Quaker's Oatmeal box. Not real sweet, but moist and a very good treat.

Dr Oz Green Vegetable Drink

I love to watch Dr. Oz on TV, so when I saw his picture on the cover of First, I bought the magazine and found this recipe. It is supposed to be his #1 fat cure. This drink will jump start your slimdown.

Apple Pie Without The Crust

I love apple pie, deep dish apple pie, Dutch Apple pie and apple sauce, but none of the store bought items fit in my diet. So, I made a combination of all of them only without the sugar, starch or fat. I love my apples this way and have already shared the receipt with many friends. The picture shows the apple mixture on top of Eggo Waffles and fat free cream cheese, My favorite Sunday Brunch.

Ginger-Spiced Pumpkin Muffins

I found this recipe in "Walking Fit" a "Prevention Magazine" Spin-Off. I made a batch and really enjoyed them, so I wanted to share them with my Spark friends. Not too many calories and very delicious. Good for Holidays!

Egg White Omelette

I'm not a big vegetable eater, so I try to make use of as many vegetables as I can in an omelette. I also use any left over vegetable in the refrigerator for variation.

Mashed Cauliflower

If you were a mashed potato lover, you might enjoy this alternative. We discovered it by cooking the cauliflower too long. Now, I wouldn't eat anything else.
