Lisa's Un-Fried Healthy Brown Rice

What a wonderful and healthy way to enjoy an Asian treat like fried, I mean un-fried rice. Here is my healthy take on fried rice using a delicious mix of fresh and fresh/frozen veggies, a mix of protein and just plain tasty goodness.

You can use any mix of veggies that you enjoy! I make several different versions of this using bok choy, and various veggies. The slivered almonds are optional. For me, it depends on where my fats are at for the day.

Lisa's Protein-Packed Pumpkin Pineapple Delight

A nice dessert or side dish with an added dose of protein. I use BioPharmaSci products, but you can use whatever whey protein you enjoy, or eliminate the protein if you're not concerned with your macronutrients.

The toasted wheat germ adds a delightful sweetness and crunch, so think pumpkin chiffon pie without the guilt! This is a great little treat loaded with fiber too (nice net carbs).

Lisa's Protein-Packed Pumpkin Porridge

This is a delicious way to start the day. It's packed with good health, great nutrition and warms you to the core! I use a very clean whey protein, but you can use whatever works for you.

There are many variations on this recipe, but this is a tried and true favorite of mine. Combining the oat bran and oatmeal makes for a wonderful textured porridge. The egg whites make it very creamy, pump up the protein, and don't affect the flavor...just makes it creamy.

Cook's note: I use old-fashioned oats...the instant and packets have too much sugar. I am sure you could use whatever you like - this is a personal choice for me. Also, I make in the microwave, but you can certainly prepare this on the stove or a campfire if you choose.

Lisa's Power-Packed Pudding

Truly health in a bowl. You can use whatever whey protein and super greens you like, but I can only attest for the taste and function of these pure amazing products by Bio Pharma. I live on NanoPro and Nanogreens, as they are unsurpassed products. But please use whatever works for you - the taste is out of this world. It is sweet, tart, silky, crunchy and truly delightful.

Lisa's Yummy Frittata

You can use any veggies you want. The yogurt makes the egg mixture creamy, and makes a great topping. The wheat germ adds a sweetness and crispy crust topping and you can up the protein by adding any lean protein you want. I was high on protein this day, so I limited it. Hope you try it - be creative, it's so much fun!
