Homemade Maple Syrup - 1/4 cup

This is how my grandfather made syrup.

Saucy Franks Recipe - Corrected

Delicious and easy. Recipe says to put hot dogs and sauce in bun, but I prefer to serve it with hot rice.

Broiled Pork Chops

This has become a favorite. Found it on submitted by Jan Taylor.

Oven Pork Chops-Busy Womans Quick & Easy Recipes

Serving size is 1/2 medium thick pork chop.

Family loved this. Very Good.

WW Easy Texas Chili

This is a nice hearty chili and so simple to make. It has become a family favorite!

Mom's Egg Pancake-healthier version

Flour is actually 3 Tbsp. flour but that was not a choice when enering info.

Lightened French Toast

Healthier version of my original french toast. It was about 1/8 c. fat free milk and 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract. Would not let me enter fractions in the ingredient panel.

Bachelor's Stew - Crock Pot

What a nice flavor. It is a family favorite!
Serves 6 (Makes about 3 1/2 quarts.
10-12 hours LOW or 3-5 HIGH

Turkey Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

Originally called for 3 Tbsp. Brown Sugar but I lightened it up this time with the Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. I'm going to try it in the Crock Pot this time on low for 6-8 hours

Moms Egg Pancake

I like this for a change of pace for breakfast. Mom's recipe was all sugar and not substitute, but shouldn't make a difference in the batter.

Bootlegger's Beans

This is a recipe that was printed in the Indianapolis Star Feb. 17, 1963. Heloise printed it in her column as one that was tried and true and requested alot, and boy was she right. It is delicious. Thinking of trying the Brown sugar Splenda to lighten it up even more. Nutrition info is based on regular brown sugar. Recipe didn't state number of servings so I'm just guessing there. Ihave just found this recipe and made it only once so far, but my family also said it was their favorite.

OP Sloppy Joes

This original recipe was retrieved from the back of an Open Pit Barbacue Sauce bottle about 25 years ago. I have altered it slightly.

This is from a bottle of Open Pit BBQ Sauce from about 30 years ago. I have lightened it up with extra lean ground beef, fat free milk, healthy whitewheat bread. Has been a family favorite.
