I make this on the weekends. Esp in the fall. I make these in a mini-donut pan and have extra left to add to a brownie/cake mini-squares pan.

I used 1%milk and did not add extra cheese at the end (its not added to this recipe)

low cal, low fat, great side dish or meal. You can add beans (not included here), or thinly sliced corn tortillas when served (not included here), or some cheese when served (not included here).
Great for cold weather or as a side dish to your fave mexican meal!
This samw dough can be used for Empanadas, Hallacas, Hallaquitas, Tamales, Tortillas, Gorditas, Polenta, and I am sure there is more.
This is not included in this recipe, but I sometimes add some brown sugar. The proportion is probably close to 3tbsp to this recipe.
I modified the label recipe by using brown rice and added veggies (I choose sweet peas and carrots but you can sub your own choice) - casserole is wonderful! I did not have Onion Powder - but I added a little paprika and ground pepper.
