This is a leftovers creation, so other ingrediants such as green chilies can also be added. The leftover rice I used was cooked in chicken broth and seasoned with tumeric. broth and 1 T. of tumeric. I used black beans that I had cooked so that the sodium level would not be so high. I even added non-fat plain yogurt to one meal and it provided nice contrast.
