This is my version of a broccoli slaw. My family and I love to eat vegetables and this is a very quick, easy and tasty way to do so. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do.
This is my attempt at one of my favorite chinese dishes. It makes alot of food and is so delicious (with just a hint of heat). I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine.
I like to make this soup when I know that I will not have alot of time to devote to dinner. I use canned veggies for convience. I drain all the juice from the vegetables and gently rinse them off in the sink using a stainer. The spices are just a starting point as my family tends to like more spices in our food and I usually season to taste. You can subsitute ground turkey or chicken and it still tastes great. We love to serve this with a slice of cornbread. This is great in the cold months and it freezes nicely. I usually make up a large batch like this and freeze half of it for a super quick meal in a jiffy.
This is a lower calorie version than my original gumbo recipe. You can add more or less seasoning to fit your personal tastes. We prefer our heavily seasoned. The receipe is LIGHTLY seasoned, so adjust accordingly. I hope you enjoy!
