I make this every week for our family, it makes three loaves, approx. 18 slices/loaf and is great for toast and sandwiches, grilled sandwiches... everything!
Half AP flour (or I use "00" flour) and half King Arthur White Whole Wheat (100% whole wheat) flour for a healthy mixed dough!
These are delicious, moist and you can sub. all whole wheat flour for the AP, as well as add nuts, cranberries, etc. YUM!
These are so DELICIOUS! I make them into burgers or into meatballs, I've even tricked my 3 y.o. by shaping it into a "hot dog!" Any way you try this, they are really good!
I've lightened a little further CL's lightened Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread by using white whole wheat flour, ground flaxseed and non-fat yogurt. This is absolutely delicious and I don't feel guilty about one slice! It makes 2 loaves so I either freeze one or give it away, right away!
