Warming and full of vitamins on a cold day. A whole meal in a bowl... Serve with yoghurt and pita bread to round out the plate if desired!
A fun way to enjoy a nice piece of pot-roasting meat! Great served with brown rice, tortillas, fat free sour cream or your choice of delicious Mexican accompaniments. (An olive lover tells me this would be good with black olives....)

This is a spicy winter warmer. It's popular in our house when one of us has a cold. There's lots of vitamin C and plenty of chili and garlic to clear the head!
This is the easiest chili I know how to make and it's great for the cold weather. Serve with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and tortillas (all can be reduced fat).
These warm and creamy butter beans are an excellent accompaniment to pork or chicken dishes and they have loads of flavour and fibre!!!

This is a great "fast food" on a weeknight. The bacon is easily omitted and other veg (and meats) could easily be substituted. (We like corn and squash as options.)
