I've been playing around and trying to create the perfect meatless burger. I've tried beans but I've discovered that mushrooms seem to make not only the taste I want, but also the texture.
This recipe was prepared with a food processor and a griddle.

From the book America's most wanted recipes. I simply replaced milk and ice cream with soy products.

A Zesty cold salad of spaghetti, cucumber, red onion and tomatoes with an Italian Dressing.
Deviations from actual recipe
The recipe called for Italian vinaigrette but we had light Italian dressing instead. We also used whole wheat spaghetti. The original recipe calls for 1 T of poppy seeds but we didn't have poppy seeds so we used 2 T of sesame seeds.
We also skipped the fresh parsley sprigs for garnish.
This recipe was featured on Dr Oz. The only thing changed was that I used three tablespoons of margarine with canola oil instead of 2 tablespoons of margarine and 1 tablespoon of canola oil.
A recipe from Minute Instant whole Grain rice box. The original rice has Parmesan cheese but I accidentally left it out when I made this recipe. If you want to add Parmesan cheese Stir it in after simmering for 10 minutes and then let it stand for 5 minutes.

I found this recipe in a Save-a-lot ad and I am trying it today. I will update if I found it okay or not.
I included the brand names of the items because Save-a-lot was advertising meals for cheap. If you buy the items at Save-a-lot the price should come up to 2.56 or less!

The recipe actually calls for 1.25lbs of ground turkey. I decided to use just a little less.
Also it calls for fat free gravy, but I used regular. It has 25 calories per serving.
