A quick method that takes only 10 minutes cooking and 5 minutes to sit after cooking is to soak the oats in the water over night. In the morning add salt and bring to boil, add cinnamon and cranraisins, stir, cook partially covered for 10 minutes on low. When done cooking, stir, cover and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Favorite omelette, actually always ends up taking half home so it is really 2 servings.
