A favorite the entire familiy enjoys.
This recipe was received from the 1200 Calorie a Day Cookbook. The recipe calls to cook it in a Dutch Oven, but I made mine in a crockpot.
An easy to make vegetables stew that cooks in the crock pot while you are away at work. This recipe was received from Reader's Digest The Ultimate Soup Cookbook.
This is very similiar to the KFC chicken nugget bowl. It's great as a treat and can add or delete some of the ingredients you like the best.
We modify this Spaghetti Sauce most everytime we make it - it all depends on what we have on hand for ingredients.
Quick, easy, and cheaper alternative to eating at McDonald's. And, it's much better for you
A spicy version of Velveeta and Cheese. But, eat in moderation.
This is an awesome twist on brownies and is not necessarily low in calories. But, it can be enjoyed as that once in awhile treat. It can be made with a low sugar/no sugar pie filling and reduce the calories even more.
This is a new recipe for me to put together as I am combining the ingredients I like from different recipes, including my mothers meatloaf recipe. It's fairly low in carbs and fat and has a good bite to it!
This is a hearty breakfast meal that is made the night before. In the monring, you pop it in the oven and you have a wonderful breakfast that is nice and filling. The 15 servings are pretty good size portions and can be made healthier by using all egg beaters.
A slight twist on an old favorite! This can be prepared ahead of time and when ready to cook, take out of fridge and heat slightly longer than directed and until heated through.
This is a wonderful chili on a cold day. It's excellent if you want to add some Monterey Jack Cheese (not included in the nutritiional information so this would be extra). My kids love it and it's real easy to put together.
A home made chicken pot pie is so much better than a purchase one. I can never have enough around for the family. THis recipe uses unsalted butter and a very low sodium chicken broth from our local grocery store.
