I love this quick fix, low-cal, low-fat breakfast...it has the fats that u should be eating...mono- and poly-UNsaturated. You will start your day with 6g of dietary fiber, 12g of protein and lots of vitamins and minerals! Add real blueberries for antioxidants.
I think the sodium content is lower than what the recipe calculator calculated because I rinse the canned beans prior to adding them.
This is a filling recipe that I can easily make and take to lunch with me. Everything goes in one pan and 3 utensils (can opener, knife, spoon).
easy and very healthy. i throw in any vegetable that is in the house at the time...frozen and raw.
I don't think that the recipe calculator includes the water ...so the nutrition facts are based on the soup being concentrated.
