Adapted these from Yoga Magazine and didn't have particularly high hopes because I haven't had great results from all-whole-wheat pastry recipes. THIS ONE...turned out to be phenomenal! My father, who is notorious for disliking anything "grainy" or "healthy-tasting" LOVED these muffins. The whole batch was gone in a day!
My first attempt to create copycat odwalla bars. These are energy "food bars," not low-Calorie diet food. Good meal replacement or hiking food.

I used raw cashews, which I cannot find in Spark's database, so I subbed dry roasted, which have a somewhat higher fat content.
I used Nido brand milk powder, equivalent to 1 cup whole milk. This may or may not match spark's database.
I used .5 C brown rice syrup, which is roughly equivalent to .35 c honey.
Canola instead of butter.
Less cashews? Substitute some (lower-fat) almonds for the 1/4 c ground cashews?
