A tasty and healthy version of the classic comfort food, no canned soups required. Black beans add a southwestern twist.
A delicious stroganoff that requires minimal pre-processed ingredients. No canned soups here!
A tasty and very lean twist on classic comfort food. A lot like a Shake-n-Bake, only without all the weird ingredients. Low carb, Low fat, High taste! Uses no prefabricated ingredients other than old-fashioned bread.
Great source of potassium, B vitamins, and selenium.
Sinfully good, best enjoyed in moderation. Uses cocoa powder for purest chocolate taste, on a chocolate shortbread crust, which is vastly healthier than crushed Oreo cookies.
A colorful, tasty and nutritious alternative to regular potato salad. Featured on my food blog in October 2007.
A light and warming soup. You can eat a lot of this and not feel bad about it. Covers the rainbow of vegetables.
Makes 6 quarts.
This is a variation on SPAQUETTE's excellent recipe, adjusted for my love of garlic and how many servings it yields. This recipe has more chicken.

A healthier variation on another recipe found here. Nutritional info takes into account that a portion of the honey and oil are left behind in the baking pan.
Good eats on a cold winter day. Recipe makes a good sized stock pot worth, freezes well if you're not feeding a crowd. A single serving makes a good meal, or have a couple of bowls if you do heavy manual labor.
