Delicious warm on a cold winter day! Some like it warm, but it is delicious icy cold. Serve with fresh strawberries and whipped topping on meringue shell for extra treat.
A delicious refreshing spinach salad, developed by my sister-in-law and put on their farms spinach bags.

These delicious cabbage rolls were made so often by my 94 year old friend, Lillian Powell, that she gave me the recipe without looking at a recipe card! I watched her make them and she gave me some to taste, and they are simply delicious!

Recipe makes 20. Texans I know called these "Sloppy Joes". In Iowa they're known as "Taverns".
We like to put a slice of cheese on with a slice of tomato. These are not included in the calorie count.
A "Dutch" treat, usually made around Christmas (when almond paste is available in our stores). We also buy the paste and freeze it so that we can make banket for our school auction in April.
Need 2 days to make this recipe. The 1st 2 steps takes only about 15-20 minutes. The second day takes about 15-30 minutes depending on how good you are at rolling out dough. Cook time is 20-30 minutes.
I never realized before how many calories are in one little piece. I've learned that I will have to eat this in moderation instead of eating half a stick (or a whole) at one sitting!!
