Steel cut oat - bulgar wheat hot cereal

This is made in a crock pot. Set it and forget it, for 6 hrs.
Makes about 5, 1 cup servings once cooked.
I like to eat this with a bit of brown sugar and so milk.

Fire Roasted Tomato Basil Soup

Yum! This is warm and delicious. Top off with additional chopped FRESH basil just before eating. Makes 6 - 1 Cup servings.

Yum! This is a quick, cheap and simple side dish. Perfect for a summer gathering or pot-luck.

Olive, Tomato, Smoked Gouda Quiche

Big hit at Pot-lucks! Smoked Gouda really adds a delicious flavor. Replace 2 eggs with 1/2 cup of egg beaters if you want to lower the calories per serving. Reserve 1/2 Cup cheese and sprinkle over the top about 10 mins. prior to end of baking time.

Vegetarian Chipotle Chili - 1 cup serv.

Easy to make in the crock pot. Add one can chipotle in adobo sauce, puree in food processor w/some water or a few canned tomatoes. Top chili with fresh green nions, cheddar cheese and sour cream. Serve over brown rice.
