Inspired by "Farmer Boy" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. SOOO good. The vinegar and honey caramelize to make this amazing sauce.
Threw this together when I was out of about everything and it's become a go-to soup. Cheap, filling, delicious.
My husband named this. ;) This is great over pasta, or you can just eat it on its own as a side dish - you may want to drain it first.
Minced garlic would be an OUTSTANDING addition - unfortunately my husband is allergic.
I've had sauerkraut bread, and I've had beer bread, but never together in one! My husband loathes sauerkraut, and said these were the best rolls I've ever made.
Pizza Crust + Toppings
Simple chili recipe. Very little heat. Easily adaptable to crock-pot.
I needed protein. Threw this together. Tasted pretty good over pasta.
yum! Also can be made with beef broth and canned beef. I used turkey broth.
Wheat Germ is just magical for getting numbers up in the protein category!
I used to make Spanish Rice with essentially the same ingredients - this time I just left out the rice and added more water. It's filling and delicious!
Edited 4/17: I halved the sausage so that I could eat more soup! It reduced calories and fat quite a bit. I didn't drain it after browning - only other change.
Whole-grain, sweet and delicious. My husband loves them!

This was some kind of mistake that turned out awesome - tastes SO good and useful in so many ways.
Great adaptation of a bread machine recipe from BH&G...rises as high as white bread, doesn't taste gummy or dense. Delicious! Serving size is per ounce.

This is a weight watcher's recipe (turkey waldorf salad). It's 5 pts per 1 1/2 cup (yes you read it right!) serving with 1/4 c raisins - I left them out. It's REALLY good.
These are good! They rise just as high as white-flour biscuits and are lightly sweet.

pretty dam' good. Use the spices you like.
This is really good, and can be made in the slow-cooker too. Just brown the sausage (use bulk sausage - I use country sausage, but any kind will work) and add it with the other ingred. in the slow-cooker - you'll probably need less water. Cook on low 8-9 hrs.
Yum. Next time I'll probably up the vinegar/worcestershire sauce, but this was really good.

This can be altered and adjusted in so many ways! Change the meat - change the veggies - change the grain - add dumplings - use whatever you have on hand.
It's so much better than it sounds! I don't even like beans and I love this dish
