This lightened version doesn't use any butter but you don't even miss it. I add extra garlic just because I love the flavor. This recipe originally called for 1/2 tbs of salt but I omit the salt completely and add other spices or I saute a dash of crushed red pepper. Sometimes I add broccoli or asparagus to get a vegetable in.
This is easy, delicious, and has a lot of protein and fiber! This recipe is figured with the raspberries but you could substitute strawberries or dark unsweetened cherries. The ground flaxseed adds 2500 mg of Omega-3's and 650 mg of Omega-6.
