This recipe is from my Mother. She made it during WWII because it has no eggs. I am allergic to eggs so it makes it a great dessert treat for me.
This is a simple and easy recipe. Making it with canned pumpkin and raisins adds fiber. I frost it with thin layer of cream cheese lemon flavored frosting. Or you could top it with lemon pudding, cool whip lite or free. I like the lemon flavor with the spice cake.
Great taste, sweet and sour, with a lot of potassium plus fiber.
Can be eaten alone or can serve over pound, white or anglefood cake.
This is made with half sugar/ half Splenda to cut down on the calories. It does not change the taste of good old Rhubarb Pie.
These veggie burgers can be made with seasonings that I could not find in the recipe calculator, therefore I will add them in the cooking instructions. One will add sodium to the final product if you wish to add it. They are filling and taste great!
These are chew bars, that will last in the refridge for a few weeks. High in calories (carbs) but loaded with fiber and nutrients.
