Very dense. Filling. My kids love these as much as I do. I ran out of quick oats, so I used instant oatmeal packets.
On a cold, winter night... This thick soup is wonderful. Leftovers the next day are fantastic! Serving size is 1 cup but you will want a couple scoops of this! Delicious!

Fillings - Whatever you want. You can do tuna stuffed; salmon; any luncheon meat and cheese. Up to you. The 'crunch' satisfies enough so I don't need chips. Zero bread. Gluten free!

These taste like a Bagelful to me. Try it and you might be as happy as I was with this recipe. When I first posted this recipe, I had only ever tried it with just cream cheese. This morning (2/10/14) I had the pleasure of trying it with the jelly. When you make these, be sure you do not put too much jelly. They become overly sweet. I like the flavor combo, but I do not the extreme sweetness. Either knock off the cinnamon sugar at the end, or get sugar free jelly... or try it without the jelly, and put fresh strawberries, maybe. I made myself 2, and I am having dificulty getting through the second one. I used country bread and the rolls did better holding together this time... They are just way too sweet. For me. Kids loved them.

3 ingredient cookies. Sounds crazy, but its AMAZINGLY fudgy and good!! Tastes like a fudgy brownie to me. Try it and see!

I came about this last night, when I realized I did not have any Ricotta or Cottage Cheese! - Ugh!!
Spinach and Mushroom Manicotti. You can choose to leave out the mushrooms or spinach if you choose.
Made a version of this... using sour cream, because I ran out of Ricotta the other day... Husband said he could taste the sour cream, but that it was still good! I used Mozzarella to thicken the sauce up.. I also had to use lasagna noodles, since I was out of Manicotti. LOL!!! Still. All in all. This was fabulous! - and even more fabulous the next day!
Thats a bacon, lettuce, tomato, potato, cheese sammich.

Add a healthy buritto to your morning! Half a buritto will serve any child or adult fine. This recipe makes 3 whole burittos, which you cut in half to make 6 servings.
1 half buritto per person. Serve hot and with orange juice to make a healthy meal.

Instead of canned soup mixes, I use gravy mix. It's much easier. It gives more flavor. The family loves it. I usually use canned biscuits for simplicity, but often find myself making my own. I am not sure how many this actually serves. I typically am serving 8 people and have leftovers to boot!

I can easily see this being made with Blackberries or raspberries.. And it would look amazing with one of those big fat berries on top!
This is something I tried at the Portland Mall, Maine. Their's had celery and pecans in it. It was goooood! I decided to reproduce it. Here's my take (no pecans or celery)
There are 2 sets of ingredients, and I do not want you to get confused... So read the directions and choose your style.

Pink Salmon steam cooked in the microwave for a very fast meal. It's yummy with the honey and mustard on it. From Zero to done in under 10 minutes. Serve with a yummy side salad and a baked potato. VERY yummy meal.
There are other recipes like this, but mine appears to be healthier.
My motto on this - Simpler is better.
You do not need to add salt, pepper OR lemon. It's great as it is..
A friend of mine made this and needed to add much more butter to get the chocolate to a dipping consistency. I think she might of done something wrong.
Just take it slow and easy :) And you will do just fine!!

I love potatoe salad - when its just potato and egg. I love Mac salad when it's just mac and peas.. So I combined the two and got this! LOVE IT! Kids gobble it up!!
This is a fast and simple alternative to the Tuna Noodle Helper Casserole. My kids love it. I came up with this on my own, after realizing how much SALT I was putting into my kids' bodies by doing the kitchen Helper meals... Not this recipe isn't perfect, but I think it is much better the the boxed stuff.
Basically, I remembered this recipe online that had kielbasa, onion, peppers and pineapple in it. I remember it was on skewers, but I don't do skewers cos of the little guys. So I went and bought everything, with the thought of putting it all in a crock pot... So that's what I am doing! It's going to feed a LOT of people!!!

I first had this about 15 years ago. I first thought it was wayyy to rich and be too hard for me to recreate. My mom assured me that it was NOT hard at all, and that it is FOOL PROOF as long as I didn't overcook it. So I trusted her, made it, loved it. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, I serve this.
All the yummies of breakfast wrapped in a small tortilla wrap. Makes 3 servings.
Take Herbalife Vanilla Dream and a couple bananas and some water, and what do you get? A interestingly enough DELICIOUS Meal Shake!
I left out hte celery because I don't like it. But add it back if you want. Recipe called for 1/3 c chopped celery.

One dish. Simple. Yummy. My kids like this dish. I learnt this recipe from my paternal grandma. She had a lot of children and said this was an often fix in her household while gramps was off working - he was a door-to-door salesman.
My little monsters LOVE these cookies. This is quarter of the recipe I usually make. It makes from 36 - 60 cookies, depending on the size. I use a very small icecream scooper that is aprox 1 inch across.
I have 8 children living with me. I have to do things BIG. They all have huge appetites. This is one of their favorite meals that I prepare during the winter.
Easy and filling. Satisfying as well!
Not the healthiest meal in the world, but my family loves them - so I make them once a month.
