I was so impressed when this actually came out and made a delicious pie. Can be used with any kind of pie filling ( I like the no sugar added cherry and apple from Walmart) but would work wonderfully with sugar free/fat free Jello puddings like lemon or cheese cake! Also, you can top with meringue as well, use the same recipe for the meringue, fill pre-baked crust with filling, top with fresh meringue and bake at 350 for 15 minutes! Enjoy.
This is a hearty alternative to a high carb pizza and its really delicious. You can add whatever veggies you'd like as well as any additional pizza toppings.
So healthy! I used frozen chicken breast, but fresh can be used. Also, I boiled the chicked to reduce fat, but it can be grilled, fried, or baked.
