Tomato soup

very yummy very quick to put together, refreshing. I was on a quest to find low sodium tomato soup for my mother, and determined that it is very hard to come by. This soup does not take very long to make and tastes great without the 800-1200 mg of sodium!

Spaghetti Sauce - Italian Sausage, 1/2 Cup

Italian sausage marinara sauce. Very good home made pasta sauce.

This is a savory bread pudding great for serving for brunch.

Wilted Romaine Salad

This salad is great as a meal adding grilled chicken breast. It is filling, tasty, and great for summer. You could just as easily top it with halibut, or substitue egg white only in the dressing for lower cholesterol. Substitute olive oil for bacon drippings to reduce fat & calories.

Spaghetti Sauce, Low Fat/Sodium - 1/2 cup

This sauce is great with whole wheat penne, spaghetti, fettucini, or whatever pasta you crave. It is simple, low sodium, low fat and less than 100 calories per 1/2 cup serving!

Almond Crusted Dover Sole

This is my favorite way to eat dover sole. It is very flavorful, and with wild rice and a wilted romaine salad, cannot be beat.
Serving size = 1 filet

Turkey Chili

Great low fat recipe, using ground turykey meat in lieu of ground beef. This recipe makes a whopping 10 servings and goes great with corn bread!

Grilled Pineapple

This is my favorite way to eat pineapple. I throw it on the grill with chicken, pork or beef! It is a great way to satisfy the sweet/savory tooth.
