Low fat healthy lasagne that tastes amazing
A very healthy way to enjoy a lovely stew reminiscent of a Sunday Roast
Yummy way to get rid of leftovers and frozen food. I used Asda mince for the calorie description but you can use any meat or meat free mince, depending on what you have! Also, use as little or as much seasoning as you prefer.
Very healthy, low carb, and filling
This is a super healthy and super tasty lasagne and the portion sizes are BIG!
I adapted these from an amazing recipe on here called Healthy Carrot Cake. I substituted wholemeal flour for Allinson's wholemeal seed and grain, added a carrot, and substituted some of the brown sugar with Splenda to make it just a little more healthy. I also topped with a low fat icing and included in calorie count. Yum!
Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Finish when chicken fully cooked through. Add grated cheese, gaucamole, and hot sauce to taste ( ot included in calories )
Grill onions in oil. Add tomatoes, spice mix ( half packet ) and 1.5 cups cooked black beans. Puree. Then add corn and remaining black beans and simmer for 10 minutes.
I adapted this recipe from one I found in a vegetarian cookbook and it is delish!
Good way to use up spare ingredients in the cupboard and yummy served hot in the winter. If anyone has any alternate dressing suggestions, I would love to hear!
