First tasted from Panera Bread, this is my version

Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Lime

Don't like brussel sprouts? Try fresh. Adding lime to mixture gives it a little bit of a tangy taste. Not overwelming but just enough. You can also substitute lemon juice if you'd prefer. Want more citrus flavor? Add some lime or lemon zest! Cut each serving by 20 calories by only using 2 tablespoons of oil!

Quinona with Bok Choy, Carrots and Mushrooms

This intereting meld of flavors may not be for everyone. Each ingredient adds its own flavor to the dish. I recommend experimenting with the dish, substituting different grains or rice for the quinona, maybe spinach for the bok choy, and different dressing (like one with sesame oil). Be creative and stimulate your taste buds!

Pina Colada Rice and Chicken

A sweet and slighly spicy rice and chicken dish. I was tired of eating just plain chicken and rice. In this dish, the rice is what holds the most flavor. Sometimes with the leftovers, I dice the chicken and mix it with the rice for an easy to take lunch option.

All Natural Fruit and Nut Granola Bars

Although these contain approximately 200 calories each, they are an all natural granola bar, rich in omega-3 fatty acid with 4 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein. To save on some calories, you can make this without the ground flaxseed meal and almonds to make each bar approximately 150-160 calories each. If you don't have the dried fruit and nut mixutre, you can just use any kind of dried fruit - raisins, craisins, prunes (chopped), mangoes (chopped), papaya... you get the idea

Tomato Basil Mozzarella Salad with Balsamic Reduction

This is a great recipe with lots of flavor. Be sure not to put too much fresh basil in there otherwise it gets a little bitter. On the same note, if you want a little more flavor add a little more fresh basil. I had this salad at one of my favorite restaurants. It satisfies both the hunger and the desire for great taste!
