Adapted to reduce sodium. Canned reduced sodium black beans are drained, rinsed 30 seconds and soaked for 30 minutes, reducing sodium about 45%. May substitute quinoa for brown rice. Using shredded jack or cheddar cheese will increase sodium content.
I have wanted to try this dough idea for a long time. I am trying to do low sodium, which this is not particularly, in large portions. I had an open package of imitation lobster which had to be used. The oven was hot as I had made muffins. It was a Friday during Lent. I used what I had on hand.
Prepare a stock ahead with a leftover ham bone , 8-10 cups of water, and rough chunks of onion celery and carrot. Simmer for a couple hours and pick the meat off the bone when it cools. Strain to remove vegetables. Soak beans overnight or use quick soak method.

Modified to reduce sodium as far as possible. Extra nutritional punch with zucchini and pumpkin. The pumpkin really thickens it up nicely.
first made 01/19/2012, ingredients are not etched in stone, but what I had on hand. prep and cooking times are rough, took about an hour overall.
