Recipes I've Shared:
Misread an on-line recipe and then changed it up a bit so I could use a can of cranberry sauce I bought for Thanksgiving and didn't use. They are pretty yummy but somewhat sticky given that there's no oil in them, I think. I think next time I'll add a bit of flax or hemp seed to them as well to up the nutritional profile.
One of my favourites that mom used to make. Major comfort food!
My version of Greek Salad. Thanks to Renee's dressing it actually tastes like it is supposed to. IMNSHO.
Any combination of fresh or frozen berries should work in this recipe. I have used blueberries, raspberries and saskatoon berries. I have accidentally left out all the butter and they turn out alright, perhaps a little dense but certainly edible. The topping is totally optional. I use it for muffins I am making for my daughter and my elderly father but you don't need it at all for these yummy muffins if you're really trying to spare calories. I try to top-dress with a few additional berries after putting the batter in the muffin cups.
This is cobbled together from two different on-line recipes. I added the flax. I didn't have four eggs so it was made with three eggs instead. Used some suggestions to replace white sugar with brown and used apple sauce for half the oil, as seen here on SP. If you have pre-mixed pumpkin pie spice you can use 3 1/2 tsp of that.
