Easy week night meal
Taco Soup or boil down for thicker dish
I got this recipe many years ago from my Mother. I'm guessing on how many servings. If you have a large group of people I add 2 cans of pineapple each, cottage cheese and coolwhip.
Took out1 cup powdered sugar
Using a homemade salsa receipe which lowers the sodium a lot in this receipe.
Working on receipe to lower the sodium.
I used a 9x13 pan and made 15 serverings.
Makes 8 Tbs. I double the receipe except the dill which I leave the same.
Makes two pizza crust with eight slices each
Makes 8 - 4 inch pancakes
Makes 13 - 1 cup servings
From the "New American Diet System"
Receipe says it makes 36 but I don't have small muffin pans so I had 24 larger ones. They would look better baked in small muffin pans.
Found this receipe in the book New American Diet System page 299.
Orginal receipe called for 16 oz tomato sauce which I cut down to 12oz and 1.5 cups cottage cheese which I reduced to 1 cup. I did this to try to reduce the sodium in the receipe.
The serving size is based on 2oz of pickles.
You can add the ground beef or leave it out. Makes 8 servings.
Makes about 3 Cups of saad. Serving size is a 1/2 cup.

This was my Grandmother's recipe. It should make about 4 qts.
This jelly taste more like raspberry jello then beets. The serving size is based on 1 oz serverings. Recipe makes about 24 half pints.
