Pizza with turkey pepperoni and mozzarella
This is a little bit of a different kind of pizza.
This is a lighter version of a cosmo with just under 200 calories. This makes a 5.5 oz cosmo.
This is adapted from a recipe I saw on the Prevention web site. You could use pizza sauce instead of olive oil, add vegetables, and add chicken or other meats if you wanted to up the protein.
I got this recipe from Eat This Not That but they included chicken and I did not. You could also add as many vegetables as you want (onion, peppers, etc). I also left out jalapenos but if you want it spicier, you can add them back in.
This recipe is adapted from a recipe on Sandra's Money Saving Meals with Sandra Lee. The original recipe from the show is available at Food Network.
I use this as a dip for veggies and quesadillas and as a topper for burritos, burgers, and any number of things. It's got a nice little kick but isn't overpowering.
This could be a quesadilla or burrito, whichever you prefer
