A quick Brunch egg dish.
I am not a hunter, but family and friends always bring me venison. This hearty stew is great on a cold winter night. Even those who do not like venison have liked this stew.
A country breakfast favorite in the midwest. With a little work (and non-fat milk) you cut 30% of the calories compared to traditional recipes by starting the gravy with a flour / oil / milk base but then using water and seasoning to build the rest of the gravy. I had a group of teenage farmboys tell me this was better than any they have had in fast food restaurants (and most admit mine is better than Moms).
