The basis for this is a recipe I found online at Kelloggs.com and have substituted ground flax for the shortening and molasses for the honey. This is a very healthy combo!

You can monkey around with the ingredients without ruining the integrity of the dish to make it suit your personal taste/s. The original recipe presents the option of topping it with sour cream, but the ricotta cheese gives a bit more nutrition. Enjoy!
