Ranch Style Baked Lentils

This dish is a great side for barbecues, or even as a main dish. The flavor is very reminiscent of baked beans, in my opinion, and quite tasty! The original recipe called for 1 lb of ground beef, which I changed to 1/2 lb lean ground turkey and 2/3 cup (dry) textured vegetable protein and the nutritionals here are reflecting that.

This is a very flexible recipe. I have made substitutions for everything listed except the cocoa powder and frozen bananas and it has always turned out terrific. My 3 year old loves this stuff!
Just place the ingredients in your blender, whirrrrrr, and drink! :-)
