I love Jimmy Dean's Sage sausage but with 180 calories per 2-ounce serving (and 140 of those calories are from fat) it is an indulgence. Compare this chicken sausage, which is delicious, to Jimmy Dean's and then give it a try. This chicken sausage has less sodium, less than half the calories, only 1 gram of fat compared to JD's 16 grams and over twice the protein. JD's sausage also has some undesirable additives like corn syrup, dextrose and monosodium glutamate (MSG).
