Heavenly Hash Candy

Very yummy, not exactly low in calories but one or two pieces can satisfy the sweet tooth and they make great gifts to others.

Totally bad for you Cornbread mix (Jiffy mix)

I made this, ate it, then did the calories. Ouch. It though, was absalutly delicious. It will make about 12 wonderful slices of cornbread, though I dare ANYONE to eat just one. Lets just say, I had cornbread for dinner!
The addition of the can of creamed corn made this delectably moist and dense. All I can say is that that it almost disapeared in one night=)

Sunbird Chicken Chow Mein

I added a lot more chicken, you can cut the calories a lot by only using 8 ozs of chicken. I personally wanted a lot of protein and well, I thawed out way to much chicken.

Simple Blackberry Cobbler

Yummy. But I couldnt only eat one serving! Would of been delighful on icecream as well.

Weight Watcher's Sausage Shepherd's Pie

The 2nd half of the dinner made from left overs from Balsamic Sausage and Peppers. Its MUCH easier to make this if you have made the other recipe first, you could do this one but the recipe is skewed towards having the other one first. Sorry. :(
I am including the vegetables as if you are making it without the vegetables saved over PLUS I added the carrots and fennel bulb since I had them and it turned out excellent. This makes a LOT of food, the book says it will serve 6. I believe because I added the extra vegetables to enhance its more like 8 - play with it as you will and enjoy.
The picture is of the decimated remains of one of the most delicous meals I've had in a long while.

Barley Asparagus "Risotto" w/Balsamic Vinegar

This is a recipe that I got off one of the Weight Watcher's free handouts and decided to share. It was very good and relatively easy to make. I didnt add the parmesan cheese (I forgot) but the dish missed nothing by not having it. I used it as a side with a small pork chop I cooked up and it went perfectly.

Weight Watchers Balsamic Sausage and peppers

This is from the Now and Later cookbook(Hearyty recipes that turn one meal into two) it takes 20 minutes prep and 20 min to bake/cook. Serves 6 plus leftovers not counting the amount you put aside to make dinner another night. If you are going to make the Sausage Shepherds Pie within 3 days then use the 8 sausage as 4 of them are for the other recipe, if not simply use 4 of the mild sausage. The vegetable I personally wouldn't change as I LIKE having a lot of vegetables. The more the merrier!
