GF Blueberry Syrup

Either fresh or frozen blueberries work in this recipe. You can also mix it up a little and use blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries.....or a mix of all of them! Sometimes I use kudzu starch in place of the arrowroot which is very healing to the intestines. Use 1 tablespoon kudzu in place of the 2 tablespoons arrowroot. This syrup will solidify a little in the fridge and needs to be heated before using.

Healing Quinoa Cabbage Soup

The large sweet onion in this recipe is sauteed for a long time and then garlic, ginger, and carrots are added. Once the water is added a beautiful, flavorful clear broth forms. Then with the addition of Herbamare, the flavors deepen. Complexity is formed when the quinoa and cabbage are dropped in. With the final touch of cilantro, you have a bright, colorful, and flavorful soup just waiting to help your cells and liver detoxify!

Spicy Avocado Sauce

It is super fast to prepare. It only requires you to toss everything into a blender and blend.

Moroccan Quinoa Pilaf
This recipe can be made ahead of time and then reheated in a pan. To reheat add a few tablespoons of water to the pan before adding the pilaf. Sauté until warmed. For variation, try replacing the currants with chopped dried apricots and the quinoa for cooked brown basmati rice. You will need to cook 2 cups of quinoa for this recipe. For directions on how to cook a pot of quinoa, refer to this post. It works best if your quinoa is completely cooled before using it in this recipe.
