My replacement for peanut butter cookies. If you are making this for someone with peanut allergies, make sure the cashew butter does not have peanut oil added to it.

Vegan Cheddar Cheese Sauce

To me, this doesn't taste like cheese but it has a hint that it wants to. By itself, it is really tasty. On noodles or veggies, it is a lovely sauce! As a substitute for cheese, it will work.

Tender Tummy Mock Potato Soup

When I need something to eat but my gums are too sore to chew, or my stomach doesn't want me to eat anything, I make this mock potato soup. The sodium is high, but if this is all I am having in a day, I don't complain. If not, then I use low sodium chicken broth or homemade chicken broth.
