If you're looking for a colorful, delicious, low fat, vegan, macaroni salad try this one. The bright green and red colors along with the black of the olives make this salad very attractive. Great for picnics. Tweak the seasonings to your liking.
I made this recipe which was on the box of Jell-O gelatin just to get rid of the Jell-O! Turns out that it's not to bad! I will make it again but I will use the fat free sugar free gelatin which will lower the caloric content some. By the way you can use any flavor gelatin dessert so long as it is the 6 oz box.
We use these beans when ever we want to have Haystacks. My family raves over them. One of the good things about these beans is that if you make these beans then add some rice to go with them you have a complete protein with out the fat or cholestrol.
Delightly fresh and natural.
With the tofu and oats as well as the lentils and rice there are two excellent sources of complete protein with out the animal fat . And there'll be no dissapointments to the taste buds - they will be delighted and so will you! Wonderful taste and texture. My family loves them.
This dish is so quick and easy to prepare. My family really enjoys this casserole and they always ask for seconds when this is on the table.
