A spicy chili made in a slow cooker.
Use a rice cooker or a crock pot to make this easy, delicious steel-cut oatmeal! Choose your favorite type of apples. No sugar added!
With an infusion of Indian spices, this stew is warm and hearty and easy to prepare.
Instead of layering, these are individually rolled for easy to control portions.
1 chicken breast
1/2 cup dry lentils
1 cup PLAIN lowfat greek yogurt (I used OIKOS Organic)
1 large bell pepper
1 cup fresh spinach
1 Tbsp yellow curry powder
1 tsp lemon juice
A hearty stew with vegetables, chicken, lentils, quinoa, and middle-eastern spices.
Made with a whole grain medley (Archer Farms) instead of rice, and summer vegetables.
I hate having to convert recipes for two people, so I'm tying to create and add more recipes for those cooking for two. These are a modified version of the Strawberry Pancakes: Un-chained Recipe (I added cinnamon and vanilla extract and simplified the flour to one type). These are very flavorful - add whipped topping or drizzle with your favorite syrup (not included in recipe) but they are also great plain!
UPDATE: I've used this recipe to make waffles and they turned out GREAT! They make 3 large waffles.
