This is a typical Brazilian food, from Minas Gerais. I made this because it is fast and a full meal. We worked hard in the yard today and I needed something very filling. Usually, everything is fried in a lot of oil, but I used a non-stick pan to reduce the fat and no sausage. I did include the bacon for flavor. If I left all the goodies out, it just would not be as good.

Just needed to calculate what I made. I served over rice for an evening meal.
Just planted mustard greens and decided to try this. Although I used fat free yogurt cheese that I made, I could not find it in the calculator so I used fat free cream cheese which is much easier to find.
I use the chuchu (chayote) to add veggie count without so many carbs as potatoes.
This is a recipe I saw on TV. My kids loved it.
